Woodland Trust's Green Tree Schools Award
We have achieved the bronze award.
We are now working towards achieving the silver award.
Energy Saving Campaign
We have created posters to go up around school to inform others of how and why to save energy.
OASES Visitor
On Tuesday 23rd January 2023, Josh from OASES came into school to work with us. We looked at energy saving and what we could do in school to reduce our energy usage. We are now regularly checking each room in school during playtimes for lights on and computers on when no-one is in.
Litter Picking
Once a month, we go litter picking in the local area.
Tree Dressing
As the beginning of December is Advent, we decided to dress the tree with Advent colour (purple) and invited all the children and their families to write a message of hope of a purple leaf to be hung from the tree. We wanted it to light up at night and for it to be a tree of hope.
