We recognise that transition from Primary School to Secondary can be an anxious time for many children and their parents/carers therefore we take every measure to ensure this is a smooth and enjoyable, exciting a process as possible.
Our Catholic feeder school is St. John’s Comprehensive School in Bishop Auckland.
Parents/ carers apply for Secondary School places through Durham Local Authority’s website.

Once places have been secured through the admissions process, a series of visits then begin between our school and the Secondary School to speak to the children and their teacher.
The children then attend inductions days at the Secondary School in the summer term.
