Our group comprises of two representatives from each year from Year 1 to Year 6 and meets monthly.
Our mission is to turn concern into action!
Our primary aims are:
- To see who needs help in our school community and beyond
- To think of ways we can help those we see
- To do the things we think of to help

Feast of the Baptism of the Lord
Monday 8th January 2024 was the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord so on Tuesday 9th January 2024 (our first day back), we led the whole school in a beautiful Celebration of the Word to remember this special feast day.
Prayers Around The Crib
On 21st December 2023, we led prayers around the crib for the whole school.
Carol Singing
On Wednesday 20th December 2023, we went carol singing at Rose Lodge Care Home.
Parishioners Afternoon Tea
On Monday 11th December 2023, we ran an afternoon tea for our parishioners. We set up the food and table, took the people’s drink orders, chatted to them and led a game of bingo… with prizes! It was a fantastic afternoon.
Christmas Jumper Day
On Thursday 7th December, we led a fundraising event for Save The Children. We asked every child to come to school in a Christmas jumper and to kindly donate £1. We raised £36. Thank you!
Remembrance Day 2023
Every child in school created and coloured a poppy to place on our ‘Remembrance Tree.’ We led a Celebration of the Word to remember those who have died.
Month of Remembrance (November 2023)
We created a remembrance tree in our school chapel and invited our families to write the name of a loved one who they would like us to remember during the month on a leaf. These were put on the tree.
All Saints Day (1st November 2023)
All Saints Day when we remember all those who have lived their lives really well and have died and gone to Heaven. We lead the whole school in celebration of the Word.
Harvest Food Bank Collection 2023
We created posters and asked for donations on non-perishable food items for our local food bank collection. All of the food donated was collected by Father Anthony and taken to the food bank.
