We have a daily routine of prayer.
When we begin our school day, we pray:
Father in heaven, I give you today,
All that I think and do and say,
I give you the good times as well as the bad,
The times when I’m happy, the times when I’m sad.
Fill me with grace and make me strong.
With you by my side I won’t go wrong.
Amen
Before we eat, we pray:
Bless us, oh Lord, as we sit together,
Bless the food we eat today,
Bless the hands that made the food,
Bless us, oh Lord.
Amen
After we have eaten, we pray:
Thank you, God, for the food we have eaten.
Thank you, God, for all our friends.
Thank you, God, for everything,
Amen
At the end of our school day, we pray:
God our Father, I come to say,
Thank you for your love today,
Thank you for my family and all the friends you give to me.
Guard in the dark of night and in the morning send your light.
