Liz shared her expert tips on how she designs characters, builds expressions, and brings animals and people to life on the page. Pupils watched in awe as she demonstrated her drawing techniques—transforming simple shapes into colourful, expressive figures.
Inspired by her energy and humour, our pupils then became illustrators themselves, creating their own characters and artwork. The classrooms were filled with laughter, imagination, and a wonderful sense of achievement.
Supporting Wellbeing Week: ‘Bee Happy’
Liz’s visit tied perfectly into our Wellbeing Week. As we focus on activities that help children relax, express themselves, and build confidence, today’s workshop reminded everyone how important it is to find joy in creativity.
Her message was simple and uplifting: “Bee Happy” — do the things that make you smile.
A Big Thank You to Liz Million
We are incredibly grateful to Liz for inspiring our children and filling our school with creativity. Her visit not only encouraged artistic skills but also supported positive wellbeing, resilience, and self-expression.
We can’t wait to see our young illustrators continue exploring their talents!
