Our Eco-Warriors learning about recycling through a visit to their local recycling plant
22 April 2026

Eco‑Warriors Recycling Visit

Our Eco‑Warriors recently enjoyed a fantastic and informative visit to a local recycling plant, where they learned all about the important processes involved in recycling waste responsibly. The children suited up in protective safety gear and discovered why safety is so important when working in a recycling environment. They learned which materials can and cannot be recycled, and were surprised to find out how often food‑contaminated items are placed in recycling bins and have to be removed by hand. This really highlighted just how important it is to recycle correctly.
