This term, our pupils have been busy filling their class attendance piggy banks and working together to earn exciting rewards from our Attendance Menu.
For every child who achieves 100% attendance each week, £1 is added to their class piggy bank. Classes can boost their savings even further, with £10 added for the class with the best attendance each week and £5 added if a class improves its attendance compared to the previous week. This encourages everyone to work together, support one another and make every school day count.
Once the piggy banks start to fill up, classes can spend their hard-earned savings on a reward of their choice from our Attendance Menu.
Nursery Enjoy a Sweet Treat
After saving their attendance money, our Nursery class decided to choose a bag of sweets. The children were delighted to enjoy their well-earned treat and were proud of the excellent attendance that helped them earn it.
Reception Chill Out with Ice Lollies
Reception pupils chose to spend their attendance savings on a refreshing ice lolly treat. The children thoroughly enjoyed their reward and were excited to celebrate the attendance achievements that made it possible.
A Cinema Experience for Year 1/2 and Year 3/4
Our Year 1/2 and Year 3/4 classes selected a film and popcorn session from the Attendance Menu. Excitement was high as classrooms were transformed into mini cinemas, allowing pupils to relax with their friends and enjoy a movie while tucking into popcorn. It was a fantastic reward for their commitment to attending school regularly.
Domino’s Delight for Year 5/6
Meanwhile, our Year 5/6 pupils chose a Domino’s pizza party. They thoroughly enjoyed sharing pizza together and celebrating the success of their hard work and positive attendance habits.
Every Day Counts
Our attendance reward system helps pupils understand that excellent attendance benefits everyone. By attending school every day, children contribute to their class’s success, earn rewards together and, most importantly, make the most of every learning opportunity.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their commitment, teamwork and determination. It has been wonderful to see classes working together to grow their piggy banks and enjoy the rewards they have earned.
