We truly rocked National Numeracy Day at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School — and what better way to celebrate than by dressing up as rockstars!
Maths in Action
We kicked off the day with a live lesson, “Would You Rather?”, where pupils tackled a range of mathematical problems and confidently explained their choices using excellent reasoning skills.
Exploring Maths in Everyday Life
Pupils also took part in a fun challenge to spot how numbers are used in the local community, helping them see just how important maths is in real life.
Rockstar Times Tables
There was plenty of excitement during our TT Rockstars session, where children showed off their times table skills and competed in true rockstar style!
Ending on a High Note
We finished the day by rocking out to music and celebrating all the fantastic learning that had taken place.
