Wear It Green Day: Supporting Mental Health Together
We had a fantastic day celebrating Wear It Green Day for Mental Health Awareness Week at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. It was wonderful to see children dressed in green, proudly showing their support and helping to spark important conversations about mental health. The day provided a valuable opportunity to remind everyone that wellbeing matters and that we are here to support one another.
Eco‑Warriors Recycling Visit
Our Eco‑Warriors recently enjoyed a fantastic and informative visit to a local recycling plant, where they learned all about the important processes involved in recycling waste responsibly. The children suited up in protective safety gear and discovered why safety is so important when working in a recycling environment. They learned which materials can and cannot be recycled, and were surprised to find out how often food‑contaminated items are placed in recycling bins and have to be removed by hand. This really highlighted just how important it is to recycle correctly.
